Tree plaque unveiling and time capsule planting – please get your children’s completed ‘What I like about living in ...’ returned to Claire Cartwright at Whitmarsh, Sutton Row by Friday 3rd June
Continuing at Church Farm at 3.30pm
Refreshments – this event is supported only by personal contributions and we are trying to be as ‘green’ as possible: please bring your own glass, cup and plate and let Kate Clutterbuck kateclutterbuck5@gmail.com know whether you can bring some food or drink.
Pie (or tart!) competition – using the national Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Beacon Tart recipe, please bring a beacon tart to be included in the competition and enjoyed at the party. Judging at 4pm
Children’s activities – there will be a treasure hunt, crafts and cake decorating and if it’s hot a water slide so bring appropriate clothes
Village history display – A unique collection of vintage photographs of the village and historical materials from private collections in Sutton Mandeville.
Make Village History by contributing your own contemporary photos to the village archive and writing a personal testimony of Life in the Time of Covid.
