Household Recycling Centre Salisbury - New Booking System

Wiltshire Council is introducing a pilot booking system at six Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) including Salisbury, with visits by appointment beginning on 14 September.

The pilot will initially allow residents to book a 30-minute slot up to one week in advance, with some same-day appointments available. The length of slots will be regularly reviewed to ensure we have maximum capacity available at sites.

The pilot aims to reduce queuing, improve the customer experience and minimise disruption for nearby communities and businesses. Existing opening hours, permit requirements, accepted waste types will remain unchanged.

You’ll see the system being promoted fully later in the summer.

Residents are encouraged to use the online booking system wherever possible. Those who are unable to access or use the online service can call Wiltshire Council's Rubbish and Recycling line for assistance with making a booking.
