Parochial Church Meeting - Thu 25 May

Now’s the Time to Show Up & Be Counted

On Thursday 25th May there will be the Annual Parochial Church Meeting for All Saints Church. This is, effectively, an AGM for All Saints Church, reviewing its financial & structural state, and electing new members from the Church Electoral Roll. This meeting offers all of us a vital chance to show the Parochial Church Council (PCC) that we sincerely wish the church to remain open for future generations - as a place of worship, as a community treasure, and as a space for talks, exhibitions and musical events. The PCC needs to see that there is a new generation of community volunteers willing to help maintain the church & churchyard over the coming year and beyond. Many hands make light work, as they say, and the duties are not onerous. Some may be happy to help clean the church once a month with a friend. Others may be happy to join 'willing others’ to help tidy up the churchyard a few times a year. Either way, getting involved represents an opportunity to pull together as a community to save our precious 980-year-old church from being emptied, locked up or redeveloped.

The Parochial Church Meeting is 6-7pm at All Saints Church on Thurs 25th May. Everyone welcome!

If you can’t make the meeting but want to become a community volunteer please email laracolenso@icloud.com
