In February the Government announced that all households in council tax bands A to D are entitled to a one-off council tax energy rebate of £150. Wiltshire Council have produced the above poster that explains how this rebate will be paid to people in Wiltshire.
So far Wiltshire have paid out this rebate to over 85,000 households that pay their council tax by direct debit. They will soon be writing to people who don’t pay their council tax by direct debit to collect their bank details.
